The Trust My Garage Charter

The Trust My Garage Customer Charter demonstrates the level of commitment our garages follow to make your service or repair experience of the highest quality. We strive to get it right, first time, every time; Trust My Garage to:

  • Provide me with a fixed quote or an estimat, both inclusive of parts, labour and VAT
  • Only charge me for work completed and parts supplied and fitted
  • Allow me to follow my vehicles service schedule
  • Work to high standards and continue to achieve the key industry standards set by the RMI’s IGA
  • Explain things clearly and treat me and my vehicle with respect
  • Use up to date technical information, techniques and tooling
  • Comply with the TMG ‘Code of Practice for Service and Repair’

Code of Conduct

Membership of TMG demonstrates the desire for Members to operate responsibly and to deal with Customers fairly, courteously and in accordance with good industry practice. This includes the Member not engaging in high pressure selling, providing sensitive treatment for Vulnerable Customers and providing full written information to Customers on request. Members must also provide Customers with clear and accurate information on the availability and price of services and goods, routine servicing and all warranties and guarantees. Customers have the confidence of knowing that any complaint they have in respect of a Member or Work done or not done by a Member will be handled speedily and cost effectively by that Member, the Code Sponsor or the Alternate Dispute Resolution provider in accordance with the Complaint Process.
